Xavier's Security Enforcers

Xavier's Security Enforcers, or the XSE, are a Marvel Comics superhero team from the 2080s. In this alternate future, the world is ruled by the Sentinels. The XSE is a team of mutants dedicated to bringing criminal mutants to justice. The team is named after Professor X, as the members of the XSE believe in his cause. Notable members of this team's original roster are Bishop, Shard, Randall, Malcolm, Fixx, Greystone, Archer and Trevor Fitzroy. All of these mutant officers ended up traveling back in time, after Fitzroy turned against the XSE and opened a portal through time, traveling to the X-Men's present with a group of mutant criminals. This led the rest of the XSE to the present, which was the XSE's first encounter with the X-Men. Bishop and a holographic version of Shard ended up staying in the present. Bishop became a member of Storm's Gold Team when the X-Men, due to the large team roster, were split into a Blue and a Gold Team. Shard, once carried on a sort of data disk by Bishop, gained a sentience of sorts due to a computer virus and the tinkerings of Forge, and eventually became a member of the government-funded X-Factor.
Bishop later became part of a team of X-Men briefly known as the X-Treme Sanctions Executive, giving him even more misgivings about his role in the present: was he actually helping to create the future he was trying to prevent? However, that notion fell away, along with the XSE's government-sanctioned role, post-M-Day.
