I looked at other X-team pages (that were not simultaneously titles) and they used the past tense to refer to the team. I think that it is even more relevant in this case seeing as this group no longer exists. Why should we refer to it in literary present instead of past? The bull about confusing it with historical events does not apply, and I think fans would be even more confused if this article was in present tense, as they might think it is a current storyline. Alright, I did as asked (even though this is not my page, I kind of took over it). Hopefully it meets requirements now, so I have removed the clean-up dates. I continued to use the past tense in the background info section because those events were prior to the first appearance of the team. Tullyman 16:26, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
