The X-49 is a bi-box-wing supersonic flying wing design with an immensely powerful onboard Laser Cannon. It draws its amazing power from Aeon Generators in its area of operation during the mission Self Awareness. It is specially designed to be carried and launched from the UI-4053 Sphyrna airborne carrier.

The X-49 was Neucom's ultimate manned fighter; stolen by the Ouroboros in 2045. After it was stolen it became one of the Ouroboros' main weapons. The Night Raven is responsible for completely destroying Megafloat. Megafloat was destroyed after one shot from the Night Raven's Laser Cannon.
