Wyoming Public Radio

Wyoming Public Radio is a National Public Radio network in Wyoming, and is the only public radio network in the state. The station carries numerous news and enterteinment programs from NPR and PRI, including Morning Edition, Talk of the Nation, All Things Considered, Performance Today, and BBC News. The station also carries its own locally produced programs. Wyoming Public Radio was founded in 1966, and the stations format is similar to most other NPR stations. Twice a year, in the Fall and in the Spring, the station conducts Pledge Drives, which is where a majority of the stations budget comes from.

The station is licensed to the University of Wyoming, and is headquartered in Laramie, Wyoming, the home of the university.
