I'm Wyatt Edwards, self-proclaimed geek and perpetual newbie*.
* Not because I know nothing, but rather because I love new projects and learning. So there.
I am a fan of immediately following an asterisk with its own footnote as well as wikifying my own user page. So there again. I am also a fan of non-sequiturs. Purple. (Heh heh. See what I did there? Yeah, I know, not funny at all.)
More about me than you could possibly want to know can be found via:
I was saved by the Invisible Pink Unicorn (Blessed Be Her Holy Hooves). Ask me how!
Note: I was not actually saved by the Invisible Pink Unicorn, nor do I worship her. I merely find mock religions interesting as demonstrations of the difference between truth and belief.
[edit] My thoughts on Wikipedia
- It's amazing!
- It should be inclusive rather than exclusive.
- However, I am intolerant towards poorly-written entries, advertisements, and plagiarism/copyright infringement, feeling that no content is often better than bad content.
- It's great that anonymous users can edit most entries.
- However, anonymous users should be strongly encouraged to create user accounts in order to reduce vandalism.
- Policies against obvious vandalism need to be stronger.
[edit] Notepad
I have a notepad here. It's for notes. Duh.
And my page for userboxes is here. Double duh.
I also have a list of pages I've marked for speedy and proposed deletion.
