WXOL currently broadcasts with Spanish-language programming including the home games of the Columbus Crew Major League Soccer team.
Prior to becoming WXOL on June 9, 2004, the station operated using the call letters WDLR. The call letters WDLR represented the station's city of license: W Delaware
WXOL is owned by the Fifteen Fifty Corporation. It was at one time operated by now-bankrupt Stop 26 Riverbend, Inc., owners of WVKO-AM/FM, under a LMA.
