If you were able to see the old wiki, you would see the member donated about $750 towards hosting costs.
I have an average of 30-60 members on the site at any one time. www.panotools.info ranks at 70K when the NG group site is at a couple million. The PanoTools.Info site is hosting over 50K pages.
This site is a panorama portal not a open source project site.
If you would like to chat about this live, then send me a e-mail to support[at]panotools[dot]info and we can use PTChat.

John, you know that this is only the half truth. You asked for 25$ posting fee (2005), you missused the money for you own projects (virtual360video, nwliving,...), you kicked all old moderators, you forked the group (PTML) etc. Please, just leave it as it is now an focus your help on ScriptBasic. They need you more than PanoTools do. --Wuz 09:37, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
Thomas - Remeber you are the PanoToolsNG group not the PanoTools group. The PanoTools group was established in Feb. 2003 and the PanoToolsNG was founded in July 2006.

No problem, let's hope he stops. But... I've never been to France nor Germany! Thanks for letting me know, I don't know why they got mislabelled like that. Perhaps some unreverted vandalism.--Konstable 11:32, 23 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] WikiProject Munich
I noticed you're a good German speaker. I'm wondering if you could help out at WikiProject Munich. Maybe you could help out with the project's Translation page. If you're interested, you can sign up here. Kingjeff 04:12, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] PanoToolsNG Site
Can the number of links be reduced on the NG group submission. All the extra links can be accessed via your group site. I thought there was a one link per site rule here on the Wikipedia. You know my e-mail address, take your issues off line please. John Spikowski 18:24, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
- Do you have a reference for this rule? This may help us. Thx. --Wuz 18:28, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

- What do like to say with this? Should I file you because you keep reverting the PanoTools article with your link spam? If your intention was to send a 3RR warning you should learn how to do this correct. Please read WP:3RR for further information. Thx. --Wuz 23:28, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Revert warring
Hi Wuz, I just thought I'd drop a note here about a comment you made about the 3 revert rule on the Talk:Panorama Tools page. You are technically correct that you have to revert more than 3 times in order to violate it, however the act of reverting more than once is seen as A Bad Thing. The idea behind WP:3RR is that revert warring, with any number of reverts, is bad for the site. So, in essence, you may be compliant with the word of the policy by reverting less than 4 times but you are not really following the spirit of the policy. Cheers, Localzuk(talk) 13:15, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
- Yes I know, but as you may have seen John Spikowski is constantly adding his own website to the PanoTools article while his site is breaking the GFDL and copyright law. He never read the hints that this is WP:SPAM, its not conforming to WP:NPOV or WP:NOT and he is not able to read WP:3RR correct. I still believe that WP should not link to a Scraper site. --Wuz 13:39, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
