Wuhan University School of Foreign Languages and Literature is one of the earliest school founded in the history of China's Universities. Now the school includes five language study major. They are English, French, German, Russian and Japanese. English major has the most large population, about 450 from Year1 to Year4. French major has a great advantage across the country, with about 100 students in total. German major is also distinguished for every year the graduates have a good career market. Many Russian major students have made great contribution in their Russian related areas. Japanese major graduates did a great role in the co-operation of China-Japan businesses.
