There seems to be some confusion over the correct romanization of this name. As I understand both the McCune-Reischauer and Revised systems, the syllable 우 should be rendered as U, not Wu. "Wu," like "Woo," is a common ad hoc phonetic spelling. It is, however, not only unofficial but incorrect, since there is no "w" sound in the Korean syllable. -- Visviva 01:35, 31 August 2005 (UTC)
