WTDA is an FM radio station in Westerville, Ohio at 103.9 MHz. The station's call letters attempt to incorporate the "TED-FM" branding that the station currently uses.
WTDA broadcasts a mix of Top 40-based hits, ranging from the '60s through current popular hit music, as 103.9 "TED-FM". Before becoming "TED-FM" in the early 2000s, the station broadcast 1970s and 1980s rock music as WEGE "Eagle 103-9". On October 3, 2005, TED-FM started airing the Bob and Tom Morning Show.
From the mid '70s to February 21, 1990, the frequency was home to central Ohio's original Jazz station, WBBY-FM, but the owners of that station lost their FCC license. The frequency was unoccupied for years while several parties competed for an authorization to use the vacant channel.
That new station, WTDA, went on the air in September 1998 and is locally-owned by Columbus-based North American Broadcasting, Inc..
