[edit] History

WSPQ signed on in 1986 as WFWC, but changed call signs shortly thereafter. WSPQ was the first station in Springville and filled a notable gap between the stations in Dunkirk, Olean and Buffalo. The station's antenna is pointed northward to give maximum coverage to the southern Buffalo suburbs (collectively, the "Southtowns.")

[edit] Programming

WSPQ is branded as "Great Hometown Radio" and the local news bureau is known as "Newswatch 1330."
