[edit] History
WSAW signed on the air on October 23, 1954, as WSAU-TV, an affiliate of all four networks at the time (CBS, ABC, DuMont, and NBC). By 1965, the ABC affiliation went to WAOW, and in 1966 WAEO picked up NBC. That left WSAU with CBS, its current affiliation. Beginning in the Fall of 2006 they'll add MyNetworkTV to its DT2 subcarrier.[1]
In 1981, the station changed its call letters to WSAW-TV after its owners sold the AM and FM sister stations.
