WRSP-TV (channel 55) and WCCU (channel 27) are affiliates of the Fox network in central Illinois. WRSP originates from Springfield, Illinois; WCCU originates from Urbana, Illinois. Both stations are owned by Bahakel Communications.

On September 27, 1979, the station signed on as religious television station WBHW. In 1982, it changed call letters to WRSP-TV, a general entertainment independent station. On February 19, 1986, satellite station WCCU signed on. Both WRSP-TV and WCCU became charter affiliates of the fledgling Fox network. Both stations began transmitting digital signals in mid-2000.

On July 31, 2006, WICS-TV (ABC 20) in Springfield and WICD-TV (ABC 15) in Champaign announced a news share agreement with WRSP-TV and WCCU-TV, in which WICS-TV/WICD-TV will produce a 35 minute 9:00pm newscast Monday through Sunday on WRSP/WCCU, beginning September 2006 titled "Newschannel at 9 on Fox Illinois".
