Wrong Turn 2 is a 2007 sequel to the 2003 hit horror film Wrong Turn which starred Eliza Dushku. The movie is set to go either straight to DVD or into theaters in summer 2007. It will star Erica Leerhsen, Texas Battle, Daniella Alonso, Steve Braun, Ken Kirzinger, Crystal Lowe, Matthew Currie Holmes, Aleksa Palladino and Henry Rollins and is rated R for strong horror violence and gore, language and some sexual content.

In this sequel to Wrong Turn, Dale Murphy (Henry Rollins) is hosting and producing his own reality TV show called "The Ultimate Survivalist", with contestants lead by Nina Papas (Erica Leerhsen) who'll be thrown together for six days in a simulated post-apocalyptic wasteland and the winner will walk away with $100,000 dollars. Located in a remote part of West Virginia, the contestants discover that they really are fighting for their survival against a family of hideously deformed inbred cannibals who plan to ruthlessly butcher them all... Who will survive?

  • This movie will be a sequel to Wrong Turn, although there were speculations about a prequel.
  • Filmed in Vancouver, Canada. Filming wrapped on June 30th 2006.
  • Erica Leerhsen's first leading role in a horror movie.
  • Eliza Dushku and Desmond Harrington won't reprise their roles in this movie.
  • American Idol star Kimberly Caldwell will have a small cameo in the beginning of the movie (for all details see spoilers).
  • Crystal Lowe and Texas Battle both played supporting lead characters in the box-office hit Final Destination 3.
  • The 6 contestants are: Nina (Erica Leerhsen), Jake (Texas Battle), Elena (Crystal Lowe), Amber (Daniella Alonso), Mara (Aleksa Palladino) and Jonesy (Steve Braun). M (Matthew Currie Holmes) is the director and Dale (Henry Rollins) is the producer and the host of the show.
  • Three-finger will reprise his role as one of the three mutants which tortured Jessie (Eliza Dushku) and Chris (Desmond Harrington) in the original, only this time he will be played by actor Jeff Scrutton.
  • It's still not decided if this movie will go straight-to-video or in cinemas. Director Joe Lynch hopes for a theatrical release, but nothing is currently known.
  • This movie is aiming for an April 2007 release, although nothing is sure yet.

  • Kimberly Caldwell will be the opening kill, playing a bitchy contestant who is brutally killed-off by Three-Finger.
  • Kimberly (Kimberly Caldwell), M (Matthew Currie Holmes) and Dale Murphy (Henry Rollins) are currently the only confirmed victims.
  • The death of Chris (who was played by actor Desmond Harrington in the original) is rumored to be mentioned in the movie.
