WPXM, channel 35, is the local affiliate for the i television network in the South Florida area (Miami and Fort Lauderdale). Formerly known as PAX TV, i is the smallest of the seven major national TV networks in the United States.

Until 2006, it was the flagship TV station of the Florida Marlins, the baseball team that won the World Series in 1997 and 2003.

WPXM began its operations on September 2, 1992 -- then known as independent station WMLB-TV.
