This is a list of television news reporters from the ABC owned WPVI-TV in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
[edit] Jamie Apody
Jamie Apody joined WPVI on January 17, 2006 as a sports reporter/anchor. Apody is a 2nd degree black belt in karate and she loves to play basketball. Apody was the sports director at KDBC in El Paso, Texas prior to migrating to WPVI. While in El Paso, Apody covered several sports stories of local interest, including many high school games and special interest sports stories including that involving the Miracle League of El Paso.
In March 2006, Apody received the Associated Press Award for Best Sports Story in Texas and Best Sports Story in New Mexico. Apody received the award following her segment on the Miracle League of El Paso.

Amy Buckman (born September 1, 1964) joined WPVI in 1989 as a producer for AM Philadelphia then as a producer for Philly After Midnight, a late night talk show. In 1999 she became a general assignment reporter.

Anita Brikman joined WPVI in October 1994 as the health and medical reporter.

Dann Cuellar joined WPVI in 1988. Since joining WPVI, Dan has covered the terrorist attacks of 9-11 and Columbine High School Shootings for Action News.

Cathy Caldwell is the fill-in traffic reporter. She is seen on days that Matt Pellman is absent.

Joya Dass is the business reporter for WPVI. She appears weekday mornings on Action News.

Cathy Gandolfo joined WPVI in September 1975 as a writer for Action News. In 1977 she was promoted to general assignment reporter. In 1978 she became a New Jersey Correspondent.

Nydia Han joined WPVI in October 2002 as the consumer/investigative reporter.

Denise James has been with WPVI for 17 years as a general assignment reporter.

Nora Muchanic joined WPVI in July 1986 as a New Jersey Correspondent. She also works for WABC-TV in the same role.

Vernon Odom joined WPVI in 1976 as a general assignment reporter and host of the public affairs show "Visions".

Erin O'Hearn joined the Action News Team as a general assignment reporter in January of 2006.
[edit] Matt Pellman
Having joined WPVI in the fall of 2005, Matt Pellman was assigned to the afternoon traffic reporter position, delivering reports throughout the 5 p.m. newscast. Pellman also fills in the mornings when Karen Rogers is absent or when she is required to fill-in for David Murphy on weather. Once the station decided to break its affiliation with SmartTraveler, a traffic service owned by Westwood One (due to lackluster management and overall poor service), the new traffic provider, Traffic Pulse, filled the shoes of longtime SmartTraveler personality John Valerio with Pellman.

Don Polec joined Action News on November 1, 1982 as the feature reporter. In addition to his regular "Don Polec's World" on Action News, Don has contributed as a feature correspondent Good Morning America. He began that assignment in May 1988.

Chad Pradelli joined Action News in 2004 from KFSN in Fresno, California.

John Rawlins an Action News general assignment reporter, joined WPVI in April, 1981. John came to Channel 6 from WAVE-TV in Louisville, Kentucky.

Karen Rogers is currently the traffic reporter for the morning edition of Action News and also fills in for Matt Pellman at 5 p.m..

Lauren Wilson joined WPVI as a reporter for the Action News Wilmington, Delaware, news bureau in June 1986.
