Image:Radio_icon.png WPTP Radio[1] is a Radio Station in western North Carolina located in Marble. It is located FM 95.1 on your radio dial. It is of the LP class. Legal ID is WPTP-LP/FM 95.1. It’s a Ministry of Emmanuel Baptist Church.


WPTP Radio is dedicated to broadcasting Old Time Christian Music and Programming 24 hours a day. With programs like Harvest Time Radio Broadcast with Dr. Stinnett Ballew.[2]

David Panther is Pastor and General Manager of Emmanuel Baptist Church, WPTP Radio.

WPTP began broadcasting on April 19, 2005 with 100 watts. . In the beginning the radio station was totally automated. The music and announcers were loaded on a computer using an automation program. It is Owned and operated by Emmanuel Baptist Church. WPTP stands for “We’re Proclaiming The Promises”. WPTP Radio was the first and still the only Gospel Radio Station in Cherokee County, North Carolina!
