Wormed's lyrics tend to involve space, mathematics, human evolution, and other mysteries. They are well-known because of their very distinctive vocalist, Phlegeton.
The band's name originally meant "rotten" or "full of worms," but when Phlegeton replaced original vocalist Rubén, he incorporated the name into the band's lyrical concept. To Phlegeton, "wormed" means the feeling of a human as being insignificant in the universe.
