World Boxing Empire

The World Boxing Empire (WBE) is a lightly regarded boxing sanctioning body founded in 2001, then under the name World Boxing Syndicate (WBS). Its inaugural title fight took place in Annandale, VA, USA on March 09, 2002, between Mitch Green 19-6-1 (12ko's) and trailhorse Danny Wofford 17-101-2 (10ko's). As of October 20, 2005, the WBE is now partnered with the United States Boxing Council (USBC).
