Workopolis

Workopolis is a Canadian employment search and career planning website.
Workopolis is a partnership of two Canadian media companies, the Toronto Star and Gesca Ltée, the newspaper publishing subsidiary of Power Corporation of Canada. Formerly, The Globe and Mail was a partner in the site through its parent, Bell Globemedia. Workopolis has offices across Canada.
Formerly globecareers.com, workopolis.com was launched in January, 2000, and it claims to be Canada's largest employment-related website. Other Canadian job boards include Monster.ca, Hotjobs.ca and Eluta.ca.
Workopolis has also recently re-launched Workpolis TV in partnership with Report on Business Television (www.robtv.com) on Tuesday October 10, 2006 in a magazine style format. The show, now hosted by Bruce Sellery, airs every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday on ROBTV at 8:00 p.m. EST. Workopolis TV debuted on October 31, 2005.
