Woodside is a locality in Birkenhead, Wirral in England. This site is the terminus of many bus services in Wirral, and was a major transport hub for Wirral until the construction of the new Birkenhead Bus Station. Woodside is also one of the Wirral terminals for the Mersey Ferry to the Pier Head in Liverpool. Birkenhead Woodside railway station, until its closure, was, also, a mainline railway station, with services direct to London Paddington, originally built by the Great Western Railway.
