Woodbridge High School is a public high school located in Irvine, California, serving grades 9-12. Founded in 1980, it has an approximate enrollment of 2,200 students. Woodbridge has a marching band and many athletic teams (cross country, volleyball, basketball, tennis, swimming, etc) which have participated in numerous CIF competitions. It was designed and built with the intention of converting it to a shopping center within a decade, because Irvine was not expected to grow much. Instead the population of Irvine boomed, and now there are plans to add a new music building.
