Wondai Shire Council is a Local Government Area in Queensland, Australia based on the area around the town of Wondai. The shire was formed in 1910 as Weinholt Shire and renamed Wondai in 1914.
Major activities in the shire include beef and timber. As well as the major town of Wondai, other villages in the shire include Proston and Tingoora.
