Women's World Cup of Golf

The Women's World Cup of Golf is a professional event for two-woman teams. The inaugural tournament was played in February 2005 and had a prize fund of US$1 million. The field consists of twenty teams and each qualifying country can field one team. The first two events were played in South Africa and the 2007 edition will also take place in that country, with a prize fund of $1.2 million.
The equivalent event for men is the WGC-World Cup.
The next tournament will be held from January 19 through January 21, 2007.
