Wojciech Adalbert Żywny

Wojciech Adalbert Żywny (May 13, 1756–February 21, 1842), born in Bohemia was a Polish pianist and violinist. He was the first piano teacher of Frédéric Chopin.
Chopin received lessons from Żywny from 1816 until 1822, when Chopin's skills surpassed those of his teacher.
