WNDC (AM)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

WNDC is a gospel music outlet based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. At the moment its current owner is Church Point Ministries, but it is expected to be sold off at auction. The station broadcasts at 910 kHz with an ERP of 1 kW-Unlimited power.

[edit] History

WNDC was originally WLCS, a very successful Top 40 outlet. In 1983 it changed owners and in turn changed calls to WXAM and format to Big Band. In 1989 the station changed hands again and flipped to gospel, but financial problems have resulted in taking the station off the air in 2004.
