WNAS

WNAS is the student-run station of New Albany High School (Indiana). The first FM student-run station to be licenced by the FCC, it has been broadcasting live since May 1949. WNAS can be picked up throughout all of the Louisville Metro area and is known for its eclectic programing, as it has no set musical format. The students are graded on the station's performance by general manager Lee Kelly. It broadcasts at the FM frequency 88.1.
