As the United Earth Sphere Alliance continued to spread its sphere of influence around the world, and even into the far reaches of the colonies in space, a few pockets of resistance formed to oppose them. One of these groups was the forty-man team known as the Maganac Corps; the word "maganac" meaning "family or relatives" in the Tagalog language, mag-anak. Although the Maganac Corps were in no way able to challenge the full force of the Earth Alliance military, by using guerilla tactics and their own mobile suit forces they were able to deal an occasional blow to the Earth Alliance.

The mainstay mobile suit of the Maganac Corps was the WMS-03 Maganac. Constructed and mass-produced by the Maganac Corps, the eponymous Maganac mobile suit proved to be equal in power to the OZ-06MS Leo fielded by the Earth Alliance and OZ, and it even was more effective in some areas such as firepower and fighting ability. The Maganac would be the Maganac Corps standard mobile suit before the war between the Earth and the colonies began in After Colony 195, and they would continue to use it during the war. Built and colored mainly for combat in the desert environments of the Middle East the Maganac proved to be versatile enough to fight in a wide range of terrains, and the Maganac Corps would even later adapt their Maganac mobile suits for use in space so they could assist Gundam pilot Quatre Raberba Winner during the Eve Wars.

The basic Maganac design was actually never used in combat; once a member joined the Maganac Corps, he was given carte blanche to customize his machine in any way he saw fit. Thusly, the Maganac Corps essentially fielded forty unique mobile suits at any given time. Some Maganacs' modifications were largely cosmetic, but others, especially those piloted by squad leaders, tended to significantly improve the armament, armor, or both.

The WMS-03 Maganac Abdul Custom was one of the more customized of the standard WMS-03 Maganac mobile suits remodled and piloted by Abdul, one of the squad leaders in the Maganac Corps.

To suit his piloting style Abdul added larger, more rounded, shoulder armor to his custom Maganac. This additional shoulder armor had an array of thrusters and extra maneuvering verniers, making it faster and much more capable of boosting. The chest armor of Abdul's custom Maganac was also slightly modified. The head-crest on the top of the head of Abdul's custom Maganac was also rebuilt to include an extra visual sensor. Abdul's custom Maganac was also able to mount a shell-firing cannon over the left forearm for use in longer-range fire-support roles. This was in addition to the weapon that could still be held in the right hand.

The WMS-03 Maganac Ahmad Custom was another one of the customized standard WMS-03 Maganac mobile suits remodled by a member of the Maganac Corps. This custom unit was piloted by Ahmad, one of the squad leaders of the Maganac Corps.

Ahmad's custom Maganac featured differently designed shoulder armor and side skirt armor. The armor around the shoulders and hips of Ahmad's customized Maganac was far heavier and much thicker than that of a standard Maganac. The head of the Maganac Ahmad Custom also featured a differently styled head crest. In the end the unique alterations made to Ahmad's custom Maganac appear to be little more than cosmetic changes, and serve no real known useful purpose aside from giving added protection to the critical joints in the shoulders and hips.

The WMS-03 Maganac Auda Custom was another one of the more customized standard WMS-03 Maganac mobile suits redesigned by one of the members of the Maganac Corps. This customized unit was piloted by Auda, one of the squad leaders of the Maganac Corps.

Auda, who is one of the most skilled pilots and warriors amongst the forty members of the Maganac Corps, has outfitted his customized Maganac with an enormous three-fingered claw arm. The hand of the claw arm is constructed and armored with gundanium alloy -the same material that the rebel Gundams are constructed with- as opposed to the standard titanium which composed the rest of the Maganac's frame. This claw arm was used by Auda to swat and tear through enemy mobile suits with ease. The shoulder armor of Auda's custom Maganac was redesigned to allow better range of movement of the arms.

The WMS-03 Maganac Rasid Kurama Custom was another one of the customized standard WMS-03 Maganac mobile suits redesigned by one of the members of the Maganac Corps. This customized unit was piloted by Rasid Kurama, the main leader of the Maganac Corps. It was also once piloted briefly by Quatre to assist the Maganac's descent to Earth after Rasid was too injured to lead the troops in the year After Colony 193.

Rasid Kurama's customized Maganac featured mostly redesigned armor, making it mostly just a cosmetic modification on the standard design. The armor of Rasid's Maganac was styled in a design similar to that of the XXXG-01SR Gundam Sandrock, with different front skirt armor, chest armor, and ankle armor, as well as a different torso, and shoulder armor with a "1" on the left shoulder. The head was also differently designed, with a command antenna on the forehead, a more Gundam-styled faceplate, and twin vulcans mounted in the head for use in close-combat.

As the United Earth Sphere Alliance continued to spread its sphere of influence around the world, and even into the far reaches of the colonies in space, a few pockets of resistance formed to oppose them. One of these groups was the forty-man team known as the Maganac Corps; the word "maganac" meaning "family" in the Tagalog language. Although the Maganac Corps were in no way able to challenge the full force of the UESA military, by using guerilla tactics and their own mobile suit forces they were able to deal an occasional blow to the Alliance military.

One of the Maganac Corps mobile suits was the WMS-04 Olifant. The Olifant was created by the Maganac Corps to supplement their squads of WMS-03 Maganacs. The Olifant is constructed from many of the same parts used to build the Maganac series mobile suit, but unlike the Maganac the Olifant completely lacked arms and manipulator hands. The Olifant also did not have standard legs, instead housing a hovercraft system and powerful jet thrusters which gave the Olifant the ability to hover quickly across the dunes of the desert in a fashion similar to OZ's own OZ-07MS Tragos mobile suit.

The Olifant was more powerful than the standard Maganac in many regards, being more heavily armored and significantly faster due to its hovercraft system. The Olifant's armaments consisted mainly of a large beam cannon built onto the right side of its torso which it used for long-range fire support. For use in close combat situations the Olifant also had a turret mounted gatling gun mounted on the left side of its torso, but otherwise the Olifant was left very vulnerable in close and melee range, although its high speed and thick armor still afforded it some protection.

Like the Maganac, the Olifant was best adapted for use in the Middle Eastern deserts where the Maganac Corps makes their home. But while the standard Maganac had the versatility to be effective in several different climates the Olifant simply was not. Because of this the Maganac Corps few Olifants were usually relegated to playing a defensive role, guarding their home towns and even being deployed later in the war in After Colony 195 to defend the Sanc Kingdom from OZ.
