Original caption:"Power Spectrum (Fingerprint of the Universe)The "angular spectrum" of the fluctuations in the WMAP full-sky map. The shape of these two curves contain a wealth of information about the age and content of the universe and about the source of the fluctuations seen in the picture. The rise in the bottom curve at large angles (~90 degrees) is the indication that the first stars in the universe formed very quickly."
