[edit] WikiProject: New Jersey
Having seen a substantial number of your edits, I wanted to welcome you to Wikipedia. I'd like to suggest that you check out WP:NJ, a loosely organized effort (did I mention "loosely") to expand the details and fill in the holes on all things New Jersey-related. There are no rules or obligations, just a group of about three dozen users with a shared interest who can be approached for assistance, guidance or cooperation in whatever interests you about New Jersey. Welcome aboard! Alansohn 14:47, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Fordham Law School
Re [2], [[law school]]s works just as well, and is preferred by the Manual of Style, WP:MOS. FYI. - CrazyRussian talk/email 11:35, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
- Absolutely not. Admins are the only ones allowed delete, so if you nomination something for deletion, you're guaranteed admin attention. Same to protecting, blocking users, etc. But otherwise, no. I just try to keep on top of all articles relating of FLS, among others. There are few :) - CrazyRussian talk/email 20:54, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Jun Choi
There have been a whole bunch of edits that have been removed from the article over time, often edits that have been stable for extended periods. Be sure to warn the IP address as needed, and if it persists, we can ask to have the page locked to anonymous / new users. I have the article on my watchlist and I will be extra vigilant. Keep up the good work. Alansohn 14:32, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Talk:Eliza Orlins
I answered your question. - CrazyRussian talk/email 15:49, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] World News Now
Hello. I know that you've been editing this article; I noticed that you removed the end date for the anchor pairing of Ron Corning and Taina Hernandez [3]. The fact is that Ron Corning left on August 11th, since he'll apparantly soon be co-hosting Good Day New York on Fox 5. Therefore, I'll put the date back in, unless you have some info otherwise.
Also, do you happen to watch WNN or World News this Morning? There are a lot of empty spaces in the anchor pairings, and it would help if someone could fill them in. Cheers, and happy editing. Thistheman 17:09, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Asian American jurists
Hey so I went and put a message box with a link to the section in the Asian American article that discusses definitions of who qualifies. All the names listed were searchable through Google or directly from court websites (Asian affiliation & court/district/part). Wl219 21:02, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
- Take a look even at the same List of Fordham University people. Every name either has an article with sources or a link where verification of Fordham alum-hood can be found. Now, where did you get the names from? I presume you have some directory - cite that at least, if not an independent person-specific source. Remember - WP exists to report other people's research, not to report our original research. - CrazyRussian talk/email 00:44, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
- Good. Many sources needed yet. I added two as well. We're doing a nice job. And what's more, you ripped the box from the Jew lists. SO SYMPTOMATIC... First you borrow all JLSA office supplies, now the Jewbox..... sigh... - CrazyRussian talk/email 04:09, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Law Journal articles
Will, would you weigh in on the thread right above the murderer on talk:FLS? Since only we three are interested in the article, and two disagree, why don't you adjudicate up there: should we include the names of the editorial boards or not? - CrazyRussian talk/email 01:18, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] FCLJ
I think you did a great article for this journal. As someone who had to stepped from an elected position on the senior editorial board, and as someone who found the journal to be the only place I truly enjoyed the company of my peers, I think you did a good stub. --DavidShankBone 02:11, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
- I second that - CrazyRussian talk/email 02:17, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

- Yo, he did a great job for Fordham, but coming back to reality....I photographed the bearded woman. But, I make no bones.... --DavidShankBone 02:47, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your reversions to Jun Choi
Hi, I've noticed that you repeatedly removed vandalism from the article Jun Choi. Please follow WP:Vandalism in order to stop a vandal's transgressions. You should leave warnings on his/her talk page for everytime you revert his/her edits. If the vandalism persists after an ultimatum, you may list him/her on Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism and the vandal is likely to be blocked. Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. Regards.--Húsönd 02:21, 8 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fixing Vandalism
Thanks a lot for the help with the King's Website. It keeps getting Vandalized and it's been a real pain trying to keep it accurate.
[edit] Could use your help
Will, my Floyd Abrams articles have been nominated for deletion. I explain the point behind them on the deletion page, but if you think this is important information I could sure use someone backing me up. I go into his legal strategies, his observations on the Court, and his experience. I have spent so many countless hours working on it, that if it's deleted I'll have to taken an extended vacation from contributing, because I think it is very important. I'm all for deleting useless and vanity-fuelled articles, but this man is living history, and I took it upon myself to do this (after I read the book he gave me when I went to take his photograph for Wikipedia). I am writing a grant-proposal around the project; if it's deleted, well, that would hurt me a lot. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Floyd_Abrams_and_the_Pentagon_Papers_case --DavidShankBone 03:05, 18 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Greater Middlesex Conference
Thanks for chipping in. I had gotten started but got so sidetracked with other non-Wikipedia stuff that I didn't have a chance to finish wikifying the tables. Thanks for the work! Are you planning to finish tablizing the one outstanding division? Alansohn 19:44, 20 September 2006 (UTC)
- I had also noticed the discrepancy in the number of schools. I had calculated the number from the website link on the page, but it may be out of date, and what we may have may be only for football, which may exclude some schools especially any girls-only catholic schools. Take out the number when you're editing and we can work on cleanup and corrections (and I can create a few more now-missing high school articles) later on. Thanks again for jumping in on this one! Alansohn 20:01, 20 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Vandalsim on your part removed
Black people page. Nice timing on your part to add racial slurs to the section while Editingoprah was edit warring with me. This is why I believe that he is white, not black, and that he intentionally tries to disrupt the positive flow of information on the article by creating interference, confusion, and any other kind of disruption. I'm sure you and him are only "coiencidentally" editing at this time on the article. --Zaphnathpaaneah 08:09, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
-
- There are a hundred racist terms that have been used to describe black people. "Darkie" has never been used with any respect in any time in history. So why do you even bother to put it in the article under "Terms no longer used"? When was "darkie" used (without malicious intent) historically to describe black people in any English context? Never! --Zaphnathpaaneah 08:23, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Zaphnathpaaneah
He has been warned. If he acts up again, please let me know personally or post it at PAIN. Thanks. --Woohookitty(meow) 11:54, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
I am letting you both know personally. I will post this at PAIN myself. you dont get to put ethnic slurs on the black people page and especially not at the TOP of the page. no other ethnic group has such ignorance (and far beneath it being a common thing here at wikipedia even if once or twice) OH I had left before I was aware of his comments. Let me remind you, this person wanted to put racial slurs on the black people page. I explained very clearly that the racial slurs are not found in the same manner on any other ethnic page, yet he persists. I was not dealt with. i am still here and my position and intensity have not changed. --Zaphnathpaaneah 04:53, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
- The PAIN noticeboard is for reporting personal attacks that need immediate attention. I know. I'm one of the few admins who patrol the page. Legitimate warnings are not generally considered personal attacks.
- I have no problem with your position or your intensity. But please try to point those energies towards the article itself and not towards specific users. If you attack users over articles again, you will be blocked.
- As for "Let me remind you, this person wanted to put racial slurs on the black people page", that is not a reason to personally attack someone. Please do not take content disputes (which is what this is) so personally. When users make edits, they generally aren't making comments towards you specifically. If you have a problem with what the user is posting, that's the fine. But then try to work with the user on the issue instead of attacking them. If you do that, you will be fine. There is no excuse for a personal attack. As I've often said to users before, I've made edits to pages that I don't necessarily believe in personally. Just because someone posts something here doesn't mean that they believe in it. It's called Writing for the Enemy and that's what Wl219 could've been doing. You can't assume that he wasn't. --Woohookitty(meow) 05:06, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
Where do I even BEGIN to address someone who is clearly locked into his own sense of superiority and won't see to reason? Here again is my entire beef with Zaphnathpaaneah, with links [4]. I will not deal with this anymore on my own talk page. Wl219 01:30, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
Well, I'm glad to say I just found out he's been blocked indefinitely. Finally. Happy day. Wl219 09:48, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Pics of tube stations
I don't think that there's any law that could stop people from taking photos while standing in the street, not on Underground property. There is an Underground bye-law prohibiting flash photography. This is very reasonable, as a flash could dazzle a driver and cause an accident. I have never taken a flash photo on the Underground!--Londoneye 11:54, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Metropark and Reginal park
Hello. I note that you reverted my edit at Regional park. I removed the refs to train station since they seemed to be too far removed for the Regional park article as it currently stands. Would a suitable compromise be the creation of Metropark as a disambig page which then lists the trains stations and the Regional park articles? As the articles are at present there does not seem to be any reason for linking the Regional park and Metropark articles. Do you know of some sort of link between the two? [edit] Mets fan - and a liberal?
Tough to find two more repulsive qualities in a person! :) - CrazyRussian talk/email 00:21, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] New Brunswick, Princeton and Amtrak
In response to your post on my talk page:
- "Infrequent" is a tumbleweed town along the Union Pacific that sees a train once a month, if that. Princeton and New Brunswick have daily Amtrak service, that is not "infrequent" by any comparison, connotation, denotation, etc. If you don't believe me, read the definition: here. Amtrak service to NB or Pton is not by any stretch of the imagination "infrequent" considering it happens every day, several times a day. —ExplorerCDT 00:51, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:Fordham-iplj.png
Thanks for uploading Image:Fordham-iplj.png. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 07:06, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
