[edit] Wizet
(Korean: 위젯) is a game development studio located at Nexon, Seoul, Korea popular for its hit game MapleStory, QuizQuiz, and Heat Project. Wizet developed a franchise system and expanded its services to Japan, China, Taiwan, Thailand, USA and Europe. Eventually, Wizet reached the global world after having finished developing key features of MapleStory.
[edit] History
Wizet started as a small company with a huge ambition to create yet another Massively Multiplayer Roleplaying game. With the financial resources from their parent company Nexon, Wizet was capable of developing and even selling merchandise of their hit game MapleStory. Finally Wizet merged with Nexon.
[edit] Franchise System
Wizet has developed a franchise system, similar to how McDonalds and Subway is run, in order to massively distribute MapleStory to an international, multilingual community. So far, MapleStory has been a success due to this Franchise system.
