Wisconsin gubernatorial election, 2006

The Wisconsin gubernatorial election of 2006 was held on November 7, 2006. Incumbent Democratic Governor Jim Doyle over Republican Congressman Mark Green. Doyle will serve between 2007 and 2011. According to a survey released 30 October 2006, 51% of respondents said that they had a favorable impression of Governor Doyle, while 43% of respondents rated his job performance as either "Excellent" or "Good".[1]
