State Trunk Highway 34 (often called Highway 34, STH 34 or WIS 34) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. It runs north-south as a shortcut route in central wisconsin connecting Wausau and Wisconsin Rapids. The highway ends at Interstate 39 in Knowlton on the north end, and at WIS-13 in Wisconsin Rapids on the south end.
[edit] Future plans
WisDOT is proposing to realign Highway 13 along the southern half of Highway 34 to U.S. Highway 10 where it turns westward towards Marshfield, truncating WIS-34 back to U.S. 10 in Junction City, Wisconsin. These changes are proposed to occur in 2013. [2]
