Wisconsin's 8th congressional district

Wisconsin's 8th congressional district is a congressional district of the United States House of Representatives in northeastern Wisconsin. Its current Representative is Mark Green, who in 2006 announced that he would run for governor of Wisconsin rather than seek re-election to the House. In November 2006 Democrat Steve Kagen defeated Republican John Gard to become the Representative Elect.
