"Often called 'Maine's Prettiest Village'" --by whom? Sounds pov-ish, and it, and a few other things, need sources (a common problem with Maine town articles). On the whole, though, it's a very good Maine town article. JamesofMaine 21:14, 23 April 2006 (UTC)

Who calls it that? Why, Wiscasset itself does. When entering the town (from Rt.1) you can't miss the sign proclaiming Wiscasset the "Prettiest Village in Maine". Been there as long as I can recall (30+ years)...although I do recall some pranksters 'whiting out' the R one year (making it Pettiest Village in Maine) ;-) Greg
