Wirges is a town and a municipality in the Westerwaldkreis district, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is situated in the Westerwald, approx. 5 km northwest of Montabaur, and 20 km northeast of Koblenz.

Wirges is also the seat of the Verbandsgemeinde ("collective municipality") Wirges, which consists of the following Ortsgemeinden ("local municipalities"):

  • Bannberscheid
  • Dernbach (Westerwald)
  • Ebernhahn
  • Helferskirchen
  • Leuterod
  • Mogendorf
  • Moschheim
  • Niedersayn
