Wire cutter
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A wire cutter is a tool that uses pressure to make clean cuts in wires. Most wire cutters are hand-held tools similar to pliers used for electronics and general electrical work. In fact, many types of pliers—such as needle-nose pliers, lineman's pliers, and wire strippers—include some form of wire cutting feature. Other wire cutters are large pneumatic tools used for heavier wires such as power lines.
Some modern bayonets include wire cutter features for use in cutting through barbed wire or razor wire on the battlefield.
