Winthrop Street is a station on the IRT Nostrand Avenue Line of the New York City Subway. Located in Brooklyn at the intersection the intersection of Winthrop Street and Nostrand Avenue, it is served by the 2 train (all times), and by the 5 train (rush hours).
The station standard mosaics and old signs to the Downstate Medical Center University Hospital/Kings County Hospital. It has no crossover or crossunder. The southbound fare control is ten steps up from the platform, while the northbound fare control is at platform level. There are mosaic directional signs to Winthrop Street on the northbound side.
