Winterhill School is located in Kimberworth, Rotherham, United Kingdom. The school lies on Common Little Lane. Opposite the school are the Winter Hills, from where the school gets the name. The school populates around 150 staff members and around 1700 students and accommodates children from Years 7-11. There is no sixth form, but after GCSEs many young people go on into modern apprenticeships, work or into sixth form in other schools or at a specialised college such as Thomas Rotherham College.
