Winnie The Pooh and a Day for Eeyore is a Disney Winnie the Pooh animated short released on March 11, 1983, released with a reissue of The Sword in the Stone.
[edit] Plot
It begins with Eeyore being typically gloomy, but more so than usual on account of his friends in the Hundred Acre Wood having forgotten that it is almost his birthday. He does not cheer up when Tigger "accidentally" knocks him into the river. Pooh invents a new game, Poohsticks, and everyone contributes to Eeyore's party. At Eeyore's party there are flat balloons, storage honey pots with Owl's hand writing on them, and a game of Poohsticks which Tigger claims he likes, but then straight after hates it because he loses. It turns out to be a happy birthday celebration after all.
