Windgap

Windgap (Beárna na Gaoithe in Irish, meaning "Gap of the Wind.") is a town in County Kilkenny, Ireland. Those who hail from the town are sometimes referred to as 'Gappers'. The landscape of Windgap is dominated by steep hills and large wooded areas. Agriculture is Windgap's main industry, with dairy being its main export. The town is located on the R698 road, with the nearest main road being the N76 from Kilkenny to Clonmel.

Additionally, Windgap is a parish in County Waterford, Ireland, situated in the northern part of the county.
