[edit] Plot

At Winfred-Louder, Lewis and Oswald arrive at Drew's cubicle to tell him about a new advertising promotion for Buzz Beer. They recommend "Buzz Beer's Children's Theatre", which Drew quickly shoots down. Drew pulls a prank on Mimi by discoloring her dress with ink when she answers her telephone. In retaliation, Mimi convinces Drew to get a package out of the Pneumatic tube, which turns out to be whipping cream that explodes all over his new shirt. The gang goes to the Warsaw Tavern after work, and Drew devises his own ad campaign for Buzz Beer--give away a date with Kate. Kate complains about the promotion, especially after someone attempts to claim his prize. But under further inspection of his bottle cap, the gang realizes it is a forgery. Unfortunately for Kate, Mr. Wick ends up finding the winning bottle cap and is excited to take her on a date. Back at Winfred-Louder the next day, Drew learns that Mr. Wick has been putting caffeinated water in the water cooler to increase employee productivity. Drew attempts to convince Mr. Wick not to go out with Kate, but to no avail. When Kate stops by to learn that she still has to go on the date, Mimi warns her that she has a claim on Mr. Wick, and not to try anything. Back at the Warsaw Tavern, Lewis and Oswald suggest yet another ad campaign to Drew for Buzz Beer: a new type of dance called "the Buzzie". Kate and Mr. Wick stumble into the bar, and the guys are amazed that the two are getting along. After they leave the bar, they return to Drew's house, and Oswald, Lewis, and Mr. Wick play pool while Drew and Kate talk inside. Once Mr. Wick beats Lewis and Oswald, they leave and Drew goes outside to talk to Mr. Wick. When he begins asking Drew personal questions about Kate, Drew begins to feel uncomforatble. Drew begins to worry that Kate and Mr. Wick will break up and will take their anger out on him. At work the next day, Mr. Wick yells at Drew for not completing some paperwork. Kate attempts to defend Drew and ends up insulting Mr. Wick with things Drew has said about him behind his back. Drew attempts to quiet her so that they both can keep their jobs. Thinking that Drew is not standing up for her, Kate angrily breaks up with Mr. Wick. Once she leaves, Mr. Wick fires Drew for her outburst. Drew begins to pack up his personal items in his cubicle while crying and singing. Unexpectedly, Mr. Wick and Kate appear and tell Drew that is not fired, it was only a practical joke. Kate had given Mr. Wick a winning bottle cap, so that she could get back at Drew for giving a date with her away as a prize. Drew apologizes and is happy that he still gets to keep his job and leaves. However, Mr. Wick reveals to Kate that he really does love her and he recites a poem he wrote for her. Kate tells him that she does not feel the same way about him. Later, Kate tells Drew about Mr. Wick revealing his feelings to her, and Mr. Wick comes by to apologize for his advances. Drew attempts to comfort Mr. Wick by telling Kate that they were playing a practical joke on Kate for retaliation for her joke on Drew. Mr. Wick plays along and now Kate thinks that Mr. Wick is only joking about his feelings for her. However, Mimi attempts to persuade Mr. Wick to reveal feelings to her, but gets no response. At the conclusion of the episode, Oswald sticks something in Drew's toaster and gets electrocuted. Lewis enters the house and thinks Oswald is doing "the Buzzie" and joins him.
