Win Aung (Burmese: Image:Winaung.png, born 28 February 1944) in Dawei (formerly Tavoy), Tanintharyi Division was the foreign minister of Myanmar from November 1998 until September 2004, when he was fired along with several other ministers in a cabinet reshuffle. During his worldwide travels as foreign minister, Win Aung often bore the brunt of international criticism on many issues, especially for his government's repression of political dissidents such as Aung San Suu Kyi. Win Aung is the only ex-minister, who is currently serving his jail-term in notorious Insein prison.

A close associate of ousted Prime Minister Khin Nyunt, ex-military intelligence officer Win Aung served as ambassador before being promoted to Minister of Foreign Affairs in 1998.
