Hi. I'm sad to inform you that a requirement for editing Wikipedia is that you have quite a long rod shoved up your butt; exhibiting a sense of humor about anything, whether in good or in bad taste, is strictly prohibited. The policy on this is not officially written down, but it's generally accepted that Wikipedia has no sense of humor. It's for the best, really. Laughter is the silent killer.

In that light, I'd like to refer you to Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a discussion forum, chatbox or Usenet group. We're here to write an encyclopedia, not navel-gaze, or have a good laugh at our readers' expense. Also: Wikipedia:Avoid self-references.

That's not to say we deny there is a community, but we try to keep work and pleasure strictly separated. Coming to Wikipedia with no other goal in mind than to play jester for the community is not likely to be appreciated by many, because it doesn't contribute to the encyclopedia, and on the contrary requires others to clean up after you. If you want to contribute to the community, then I'd encourage you not to make such contributions in the article namespace, because that's for the readers.
