[edit] Biography
Wim Kieft played for Ajax Amsterdam, PSV, Pisa and Girondins Bordeaux, and the Netherlands national football team. He came from a school of strikers who played in the De Meer stadium of Amsterdam (Ajax). His contemporaries were Frank Rijkaard, John van 't Schip, Marco van Basten and Gerald Vanenburg: these youngsters made the 1980s a highly successful decade for the Netherlands, Ajax and PSV.
