Wilton Guerrero

Wilton Guerrero (born October 24, 1974 in the Don Gregorio, Dominican Republic) is a major league utility player who currently plays for the St. Louis Cardinals since 2005. He previously played for the Los Angeles Dodgers (1996-1998), Montreal Expos (1998-2000, 2002), Cincinnati Reds (2001-2002), and Kansas City Royals (2004).
Guerrero was 21 years old when he broke into the big leagues on September 3, 1996, with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
He is a utility player with excellent speed. Although he has shown the ability to hit for average, he has limited power. He was signed by the St. Louis Cardinals to a minor league contract in January 2005 with an invitation to training camp, but did not play during the 2005 season with St. Louis.
