Wilmington, Sussex

Wilmington is a village in the Wealden District of East Sussex on the South Downs. It is about 12 miles (20km) north-west of Eastbourne. It is also where the civil parish of Long Man is based, named after its most famous landmark, the Long Man of Wilmington which is a 230+ ft chalk figure.
In the village itself there is a 12th century church, dedicated to St Mary and St Peter; close by are the ruins of a 12th century priory.
