Wilma Burgess

Wilma Burgess (born June 11, 1939; died August 26, 2003) is a country vocalist best known for her rendition of Bobby Montgomery's "Misty Blue," which became a significant hit at country radio upon its 1966 release.

Wilma passed away unexpectedly Monday, August 26th, 2003 at 4:05 a.m. at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, after suffering a massive heart attack. She was 64, and had been hospitalized for a week for tests, and had seemed to be on the road to recovery.
