Willie Wumpa Cheeks (ウィリー ワンパチークス Wirī Wanpachīkusu?) (more commonly known as Willie) is a fictional character in the Crash Bandicoot series. His name is a reference to Willy Wonka

Willie is the "jolly park mascot" of Ebeneezer Von Clutch's theme park, Von Clutch's MotorWorld.[1] He is supposed to resemble a Wumpa Fruit, but may look more like a pumpkin. He always tends to sing sentences in limericks and rhymes, freaking out everyone (particularly Doctor Neo Cortex and Stew[2]).
He was actually the one responsible for stealing the power gems from the park (though without any given motive as to why but what might be a a clue to his motive is at a certain point when he says "This stone in my shack prove Von Clutch is a hack!"), and the black power gem lodged in Von Clutch's chest. He admits to the crime because the others at a meeting of evidence accuse Crash Bandicoot of doing it, since a trail of Wumpa Whip was found at each scene,[3] and Crash is the only one who drinks it, beside Willie himself. He then bounds off to the space themed part of the park and attempts to blast off in a rocket, but is thwarted by Crash when he aborts the launch. Willie is then pulled out of the rocket by Crunch Bandicoot. But before he can be interrogated on the location of the Black Power Gem, Dr Cortex liquifies him with his new invention, resembling a helicopter with a machine gun mounted on it. Therefore Willie Wumpa Cheeks is presumably dead. If he is still alive, all that is left of him is a puddle with eyes.
