William the Lawless

William the Lawless was the last book in the William Books series. It was published posthumously in 1970 following the death of the author, Richmal Crompton, in 1969. It is difficult to obtain in good condition with a dustwrapper, quite high prices are asked and paid for this elusive title. There have been some soft cover reprints - one features the original jacket slightly cropped, and even these reprints can be expensive.
